There are mainly five galleries:

1. Marine Aquatica Gallery
2. Automobile Gallery
3. Noble Prize Gallery
4. Electro Mechanics Gallery
5. Bioscience Gallery

1. Marine Aquatica Gallery:

World oceans and terrestrial water bodies account for approximately 90% of total living space on Earth. As a result, it is not surprising that the first forms of life emerged from water.

However, a significant amount of aquatic life remains unknown. The marine ecology, which is separated into numerous zones, supports a wide range of life, from minuscule planktons to the largest creatures that have ever lived on the planet.

The marine gallery of the Regional Science Centre (RSC) in Bhavnagar features 34 exhibits that depict the history of aquatic life on our planet. It will offer you a thorough understanding of numerous maritime habitats and ecosystems. This gallery's main attraction will be massive water tanks filled with a variety of exotic fish. In addition, a 360 VR simulator will take you on a virtual tour of the underwater world and its inhabitants.

The final portion of the marine aquatic gallery will wow you with its collection of underwater treasures, warships, and submarines.

2. Automobile Gallery:

The invention of the wheel was one of the most groundbreaking inventions in human history.

However, for a long time, forms of movement relied solely on the force exerted by humans or animals. It wasn't until the late nineteenth century that the automobile industry experienced tremendous expansion thanks to the invention of various combustion engines and cars.

The Automobile Gallery at the Regional Science Centre (RSC) in Bhavnagar will take you on a journey through the evolution of the automobile industry. From the first steam engines and automobiles to ultramodern electric vehicles and supersonic aircraft, you will see some of the most astonishing advancements.

3. Noble Prize Gallery:

Alfred Nobel was a Swedish inventor, engineer, and industrialist. He devised dynamite, a safer method of handling explosives. His company, Nobel Industries, manufactured and sold dynamite, which made him wealthy.

The Nobel Prize is awarded to those who have made significant contributions to humanity in subjects such as physics, chemistry, medicine, literature, peace, and economics.

It is presented to acknowledge and reward individuals for exceptional efforts and discoveries that benefit society.

The Nobel Prize has been awarded every year since 1901, with the exception of the years during both World Wars, when it was temporarily stopped. The monetary value of the Nobel Prize changes each year, depending on the finances available from the Nobel Foundation. In recent years, the Nobel Prize has been worth around $986,000 USD. This amounts to around 8.1 crore Indian rupees. However, currency conversion rates fluctuate, so the exact amount may differ slightly.

The Nobel Prize in Physiology or Medicine has been awarded 114 times to 227 Nobel Prize laureates between 1901 and 2023.

The Nobel Prize gallery at the Regional Science Center (RSC), Bhavnagar displays information about the 224 laureates and their groundbreaking discoveries in the field of Physiology or Medicine.

4. Electro Mechanics Gallery:

Electromechanics combines phenomena from the electrical and mechanical domains of study and applies them to our daily lives. Electromechanics is concerned with the mechanical forces involved in electric circuits. In addition, the study examines the effects of magnetism on our environment.

The Electromechanics gallery at the Regional research Centre (RSC) in Bhavnagar strives to highlight the pioneering work of the best brains in this field of research. It consists of 34 displays in perfect synergy, where the past meets the future.

This gallery will shed light on the operation of tools and devices such as electric motors, Tesla coils, dynamos, and radios, among others. At the same time, visitors will be introduced to modern technology such as piezoelectricity, as demonstrated by a piezoelectric floor, and magnetic levitation, which is utilized in high-speed trains.

Studying natural phenomena such as lightning and the Northern Lights will provide a deeper knowledge.

5. Bioscience Gallery:

All living things on Earth are formed up of the fundamental unit of life known as a "cell".

Biology science teaches us about the structure, function, growth, origin, evolution, and distribution of all living species. At the same time, it demonstrates how each form of life is dependant for survival.

The Biological Sciences exhibition, which will feature 12 displays, will tell the journey of life, beginning with a single cell and evolving into vast divisions of bacteria, fungus, plants, and animals. This gallery, using a Biology Tree, will display a variety of species that existed on Earth at various points in time.

This exhibit at the Regional Science Centre (RSC), Bhavnagar, will also introduce you to various environments and their people. A virtual Jungle Safari experience through the technology of a VR simulator will leave you speechless. In addition, you will gain new insights into ideas such as the Food Pyramid, Natural Selection, and Survival of the Fittest through modernistic interactive and visual settings.

A newly created Activity Zone for children near the gallery's end will provide an unforgettable learning experience.

 Thank You!
